Texas Rangers fans are excited about newly acquired pitcher Yu Darvish, and many are hoping he can help lead the team to win a World Series title. Japan's best pitcher just signed a 6 year, $56 million contract, and on top of that, the Rangers bid over $51 million to get him from his team in Japan.

Darvish made headlines when he arrived in Dallas yesterday sporting a t-shirt emblazoned with what appears to be a marijuana leaf and the phrase "I Will Survive." Awesome. We here at DFW NORML are certainly rooting for Darvish to help the Rangers finally secure that Series title, and we fully support his decision to sport the great ganja leaf on as many t-shirts as possible.

Somebody send this guy a Cannabis All-Stars shirt!

Update: They're saying it's a "Japanese maple leaf." Pfft. Sure it is.
