Designer, cinematographer & motion graphics artist for a marketing firm in Fort Worth. Favorite things in life are zombies, fish tacos & cannabis law reform. Joined NORML in April of 2011, and became the Executive Director six months later.

Deputy Director: Eric Moreno

Born and raised in DFW, Eric joined the Navy in 2002 and served until 2008 as a mechanic in the submarine field. He has a degree in business management and has been a member since 2010.

Public Information Officer: David Sloane

No short biography can do justice to David's impressive accomplishments. Before attending law school, David Sloane was a police lieutenant highly skilled in criminal investigations and crime scene analysis. He has written many procedures still followed by law enforcement agencies today in addition to teaching basic and advanced courses in many police academies.

Today David is a well-respected and successful defense attorney in Fort Worth and a member of the NORML National Legislative Committee.

Treasurer & CFO: Aaron Gutknecht

A long-time and enthusiastic member of DFW NORML, Aaron has used his enthusiasm to motivate other members. Aaron is also an instructor of statistics at a local college, and now he brings his passion and academic knowledge to help us urge lawmakers and fellow citizens to re-examine the failed drug laws in this country.

Board Member: Donna Spiller

Donna breaks the stereotype that only the young and reckless advocate the revision of our country's repressive marijuana laws. Through example, she also teaches other DFW NORML members about the importance of tolerance, compassion, and understanding. Many people also claim that Donna makes the world's greatest eggplant parmesan.

Founder / Board Member: Ryan Rodriguez

Ryan has been with DFW NORML for its entire existence. In fact, he founded the chapter and in its early days worked tirelessly to get it accepted as a mainstream organization.

While Ryan has served as Chapter Director on multiple occasions, he is currently serving on the board as a trusted advisor.

Board Member: Larry Talley

A Texas native and decorated Gulf War Veteran, Larry retired from the military in 2007 and relocated to the Metroplex. As a proponent for freedom, Larry has assisted various organizations with promoting the truth about Marijuana including the Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, Drug Policy Forum of Texas, Protect our Youth, Americans for Safe Access, among many others.

A far cry from his previous duties involving drug interdiction and eradication, Larry frequently travels and speaks on behalf of all Americans who believe that drug laws in this country have failed.

National NORML Women's Alliance Steering Committee Member: Elisabeth Hill Rodriguez

Before taking on the exciting role of Women's Alliance Coordinator, Elisabeth was an indispensable member of DFW NORML. She has been around since the founding of the organization, and no one has shown more dedication and enthusiasm over the years. She brings that same talent and experience to the Women's Alliance.
