Howdy Legalizers,

The New Years Eve Marijuana Masquerade was our most successful event ever, growing our active membership by 12% and raising enough money to fund some of the many iniatitives we have planned this year. There was amazing music, food, prizes, masks, fire spinners and high times had by all. If you missed it, you missed out. If you were there and one of the five people who's lighter I accidentally pocketed.. My bad. See me after class and I'll trade you for a DFWNORML lighter.

A special thanks also goes out to our partner Feed Your Head for donating a gorgeous King Volcano glass "water pipe" that we raffled off at midnight. They're an alternative retail shop offering clothing, smoking accessories, home decor, jewelry and more. Wonderful customer service and selection, plus our members get a 10% discount by flashing their membership card. Stop by and say high!

Quite frankly, the NYE party wouldn't have been possible without the many people that stepped up and contributed their time, skills and passion to the cause. This of course, was always part of our master plan. Creating opportunities for more people to get involved is one of our primary objectives for 2012, so with that I humbly invite you (and anyone you know that's interested in legalization) to our first meeting of the year. It's being held at the Arlington Unitarian Universalist Church. The meeting starts at 4:20pm sharp, with Pre-Game starting at 4:00pm. We have many things to cover so make time to be on time, so it's not awkward when you interrupt by arriving late. :)
