Today Canada will decide if Marc Emery can be extradited to the US for selling seeds. The charges are severe - over 60,000 'counts' (each seed equals one), qualifying him for the death penalty as a 'king pin'. Canada will not extradite anyone facing death, so the US may have overshot the goal.

Heres wishing him luck, and freedom to continue the good fight.

They have postponed the hearing. From Cannabis Culture: "That date for the extradition hearing was set for May 28th, 2007, but has now been postponed. On May 30th, 2007 the extradition hearing will be rescheduled. It is expected to be set sometime later this year."
