I'd like to post this on a local Meetup site I am on.
Do you know where I can get some more event info?
Thanks.

LEAP, like NORML, also advocates for the removal of all laws effecting cannabis and cannabis users. LEAP - however, extends this concept to include "all drugs". LEAP advocates for the legalization of all drugs, but under the umbrella of taxation, regulation, and education. We want to reduce the harm with lifestyle or medical choices and ensure those who need help, the truly addicted, are treated like patients - not locked up in cages. This whole concept will reduce the tax burden on our society by placing an unregulated market of money into regulated banks where it will be taxed and regulated. The GDP of the drug war is in the TRILLIONS and this could all have been money saved, earned, and spent on society in society. That is trillions of dollars that could have been spent on education, REAL TREATMENT programs that work, and less on prisons.
Come listen to me talk, it's the only talk I'm scheduled to do in the DFW area after 7am in the morning (Rotary Clubs do Friday morning 7am meetings).
Cheers!
