The congressional elections of 2010 are approaching, this is the time that we need to work within our district to try and make a difference in our government.
Norml People for honest government. We need to review the representatives within government that do not have the best interest of the people they represent. To have an effect on government, the people in government need to change. Changing government one person at a time!
I give you an example of the congressman from District 26 Michael C. Burgess.

Rep. Burgess is not an independent thinker, and does not vote with his conscience for the people he represents. Rep Burgess is a puppet to the Republican/Corporate and Big Pharmacy political machine!

There have been numerous cases of tainted food in the news within the last year.
Why would anyone vote against the safety of the food we feed our children, and the cosmetics we use? Michael C. Burgess voted against the safety of our families!

Sets forth limits on: (1) the non-economic damages that an individual may recover from health care practitioners and health care institutions; and (2) the total damages that a person may recover from any single liable health care practitioner.
The news reports are rife with accounts of people entering into hospitals only to contract staph (Staphylococcal) infection in hospitals and die from the infection! Other horror stories come to mind of the amputation of the wrong limbs of patients!

I had to ask, what heartless fiend would restrict the recourse of common people that were the victims of a hospital that was so unsanitary that they contract killer flesh eating diseases, or walk in to the hospital only to have the wrong limb amputated, with the final result of becoming a double amputee?!
What could motivate someone to side against the victim so egregiously wronged by the corporate medical industry?
To understand the motivations of M.C Burgess we need to review the contributions to his campaign. Who contributes to M.C Burgess’ campaign, who owns M.C Burgess?
Micheal C. Burgess accepted money from a convicted felon! At least three Texas members of Congress received contributions from Tony Rudy, DeLay’s former deputy chief of staff. The money in question, originated with the convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

M.C Burgess is not interested in lobbying for the citizens of his district. M.C. Burgess is a political lobbyist for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and corporate interest.
I now know how M.C. Burgess could vote against; children, safe food, and the sick people!
M.C Burgess is bought and paid for by the pharmaceutical corporate industry.
Obviously M.C Burgess does not represent the people of the 26th District. It is time to VOTE FOR ANYONE BUT M.C BURGESS!
I wanted to post an explanation of the above post. The election year is coming up, we need to target politicians that are this opposed to the common voter and their needs. Obviously a politician that is this embedded with big pharma, and corporate interest is going to have no sympathy for our cause. We need to contact the political groups in our areas to actively work to remove toxic politicians!
