This information is from an e-mail list I'm on. I thought it'd be helpful to us here at DFWN.
Participants on this forum who want valid rebuttals to drug crusader lies for your letters to editors (LTEs) can find a wealth of information in the Schaffer Library of Drug Policy. http://www.druglibrary.org/schaffer/index.HTM
I highly recommend browsing the Schaffer Library of Drug Policy because you are sure to see ideas new to you. The Schaffer Library of Drug Policy is the most cited source of drug information for essays, term papers etc. Many journalists use the library. Check it out and see why.
An excellent place to begin is by reading The Consumers Union Report on Licit and Illicit Drugs. Although this book was published in 1972 the ideas are still completely valid because the truth does not change.
Each chapter is only 10-15 pages, so you can easily digest a concept with a quick read.
