The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of NORML meets regularly the last Saturday of every month at 4 p.m., at 1919 Hemphill in Ft. Worth. Meetings are open to the public. We discuss relevant legislation at a state and national level as well as talk about current marijuana laws. We also plan multiple events such as benefit concerts, movie showings, and marches and rallies. We work with our members and supporters to educate the public about the perils of marijuana prohibition. If you want to know what YOU can do to help bring about a change in marijuana laws, attending a DFW NORML meeting is one of the best ways to do so.
If you haven't been to one of our meetings before, this is a great opportunity to come out and introduce yourself! 1919 Hemphill is a music venue and activist center, and they graciously allow us to hold our meetings there. It's a pretty cool place, you should definitely come check it out. there are tons of comfy couches and chairs and everyone is welcome.
