It's that time of year you've been waiting for, the stoner holiday of 4/20/2008!! Of course DFW NORML has put together a day of events for your 4-20 pleasure.
Here are our plans for SUNDAY, APRIL 20, 2008
We'll start at Trinity Park in Fort Worth to help take care of this beautiful earth we live on. We'll clean up the park and finish with a potluck and BBQ afterwards. We'll meet around noon at the playground and probably eat around 2.

(It's a big park, but it looks like if you do a google or yahoo map for this address it'll take you to the entrance across from the Botanical Gardens, which is about right-you should be able to find the playground easily from there)
THEN, we'll head over to 1919 HEMPHILL for a free screening of SUPER HIGH ME! Super High Me is comedian Doug Benson's experiment to smoke pot constantly for 30 days and see what happens-like Super Size Me but with weed. We'll have some popcorn you can buy for a small donation (which will be given to 1919 Hemphill, a really cool activist center that rocks for letting us have our NORML meetings and many events there), and you are welcome to bring some munchies to share.
We hope you'll join us for this wonderful stoner holiday, and give back to beautiful mother earth and celebrate afterwards with a meal and later with a movie!
