Black and white fliers for distribution

Folks-
When you have time, print some of these off (print one at kinkos for 49 cents and copy them for 1c apiece!) and cut them, and then spend a few hours in your favorite stoner hangouts passing them out and prosletyzing for our cause. The more awareness you can create, the better!

Support DFW NORML

If you appreciate this site and the resources it provides, please consider making a contribution to DFW NORML. Your tax deductible contribution helps us keep the lights on and marijuana activism alive.

DFW NORML is a nonprofit organization, which means we serve a purpose of public benefit rather than pursue profits for our own gain. Any donations we receive help in the fight toward the reform of marijuana laws that resulted in the arrests of nearly a million Americans in 2006. Your donations will help us to organize, lobby, and educate the public about marijuana law reform.

Politics!

Good afternoon, NORML Freedom Fighters!

Thank you for attending the first Texas Conference 2011. We learned a lot (next time we'll have more munchies there) and appreciate everything you all did to make it to Austin!

The BIG PDF PACKAGE of the items from the conference, is attached. Please keep in your files for general reference and review, by your board or members. Let me know if you have any issues with the package or need the files sent individually.

Buds for the Cure

After skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women. Approximately 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. It is the leading cause of cancer death among women age 35-54. And NORML wants to help find a cure.

On behalf of the Dallas/Fort Worth NORML chapter and the NORML Women's Alliance, we have created a team to participate in the Dallas Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on October 15, 2011 at NorthPark Center, and we need your help. For only $30, you can register as part of the team. Team members can choose to participate in the 5K, but they certainly do not have to. But even those who don't register can help raise money for this important cause.

Follow the link below to our Buds for the Cure homepage, where you can register as part of the team and donate to the cause:

Volunteer

Hi King Neptune,

While talking about volunteer opportunities, there is a soup kitchen at St. Andrew Pres on Oak street in Denton called, "Our Daily Bread". They need help from time to time - perhaps we can work somthing out to get on a regular schedule or something like that. They have told me in the past they are overhwelmed by volunteers during the holidays, but have an absence of volunteers during most of the rest of the year.

It might be a good idea to setup some kind of contact with them, find out what their challenges are and help them with their mission.

Just a thought...
