Slightly Stoopid & 311 Unity Tour Recap
Posted on: July 13, 2012
311 & Slightly Stoopid’s Unity Tour came to town yesterday and DFW NORML was there! We had a great spot for our merchandise table that stayed busy all night and made over $1,000 in donations. Among the goodies sold were 4 of the “Pack NORML With Rick Steves” hemp backpacks! The crowd received us well and we even scored a backstage interview with Christofer “C-Money” Welter (trumpet, keyboard) of Slightly Stoopid.
Special thanks to Chris Scott of Silverback Music & Jil Staszewski of National NORML for making this happen. Also, to our volunteers Colin Wham, Kelsey Beene, Chance Canales & Will Jenkins for all their hard work & the Gexa staff for all the help.
