Lake And Bake 2015 – DFW NORML’s Ten Year Anniversary Party at Lake Worth

Posted on: July 2, 2015

Lake and Bake 2015 is a public event at Lake Worth, hosted by DFW NORML. Founded in June of 2005, this June marks the 10 year anniversary of our nonprofit organization and we’re celebrating accordingly! Since the water at Joe Pool Lake is still too high and the park isn’t convinced that the lake will be open in time for our event, we’ve officially changed the location to 9600 Watercress Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76135. Gates open at 12pm and close at 9pm.

We’ll have live music from local entertainers as well as speakers discussing the current state of marijuana law reform and activism here in Texas, food available for purchase, prizes, a fundraising auction and a few surprises for attendees. Paid public parking and restrooms are available as will be fire pits, grills, beach and boat dock access and a playground for the kids.

RSVP on Facebook here for the latest updates:

Our 2013 Lake and Bake at Lake Grapevine had around 400 attendees and then in 2014 at Joe Pool in Arlington we had over 800! Will you help us make 2015 our biggest public day at the lake yet for marijuana law reform in North Texas? RSVP, invite your buds and together we’ll continue ending cannabis prohibition one Texan at a time.
